Food, Glorious (Affordable) Food

Food, glorious food.....

....and bad song lyrics.

In any event, the conspiracy that is known as INTERNATIONAL TRADE has helped make food more affordable than ever before.

To Kill a Mockingbird, Again

To Kill a Mockingbird, Again

We all had to read this novel in high school and see the movie. The fact the novel and movie are just stock characters acting out liberal talking points (however crisply performed by Gregory Peck, Frank Overton, and company) is always overlooked in praising the story. The hagiography needs to stop because "all the folks buying it don't know they are reading a children's book."

More On Question 3

The ads claiming Question 3 will decimate local aid, force massive cuts in spending, etc. are lying. The reality is most of what the state spends can be cut without jeopardizing anything - as shown here.

Lying About Iraq's Casualties

With WikiLeaks on the rampage again, the lie that 250,000 were killed in Iraq is being peddled again. But the biggest irony is that the documents prove - as though proof was needed - that Iran has been sanctioning the campaign to exterminate civilians in Iraq after the liberation - a fact the MSM was determined to deny in order to justify attacking George W. Bush.

The Stones in Stereo from the Brian Jones era (1964 to 1965)

Perhaps the apex of the Rolling Stones history, the revelation in this 1964-65 stereo compilation is the alternate take of 19th Nervous Breakdown (at 5:52 in) featuring a radically different lead vocal from Mick Jagger that alternates between mellow on the verses and rawer on the chorus, with a different performance on the fade.

The Dave Clark Five, Glad all over, true stereo mix

The Dave Clark Five was a grossly underrated 1960s band from Tottenham, UK and this rare stereo mix of their breakout hit from 1963-4 shows how good they were.
