Obama's Failed Theory On Terrorism

Obama treats enemy aggression as business-as-usual.

"Not only is this theory remarkably callous, it is challenged by the shoddy results of the President's approach to terrorism."

Obama's theory on terrorism isn't the only failure - his pinprick approach to having to fight it has also failed.

Bacha Bazi and the Afghan Drawdown

A look at recent incidents where US soldiers stopped Arab child rape in Afghanistan.

"....we were working primarily with the Afghan National Army - an organization dominated by northeners and non-Pashtuns and, by Afghan standards, a more professional outfit than the local police units that became more critical to the success of the US drawdown beginning in 2011. Though the Afghan Army had its problems, including corruption and surely sexual assault as well, lost in the discussion this week is a fine but important distinction: The crisis of systematic child rape primarily involves Pashtuns who have joined the police or government-backed militias in the eastern and southern parts of the country during the period when Americans have been focused on their own departure.

Rolling Stone Needs To Shut Up

Rolling Stone has long established that they have no credibility to covering the real world, and with the worthless quality of modern rock music the magazine's reason for existence to begin with is worth questioning. Yet the magazine keeps lying to its readers about the real world and its belligerent ignorance of military matters shows again with its hideous piece on military skepticism of Barack Obama's Afghanistan stupidity that noentheless reveals quite a bit about The Man On The Way Up's greater stupidity based on jealousy of another man's (General David Petraeus) popularity.

Rolling Stone does not have the right to cover issues about which it is dishonest - and war reporting is the magazine at its most dishonest.

War Revisionism Runs Amok

Two items worth mentioning that illustrate how war revisionism continues to run amok. First is blame to Ronald Reagan for backing Afghan guerrillas against the Soviet army, blame that is unwarranted. Then we also have attacks on Rush Limbaugh's "phony soldiers" comment, attacks that deserve response.
