Krauthammer's Silver Hammer
Charles Krauthammer has been among the sharpest observors of the national and international scene over 25 years, and the 25th anniversary of his first published column arrived recently. His silver hammer gets a nice set of linkages here.

Anatomy Of A Terrorist Attack
The Fort Hood killer was a terrorist - as shown by this examination of the various dots connected.

The Fort Hood Terrorist
The Fort Hood terrorist, Nidal Malik Hasan, had been investigated by the FBI years ago but they apparantly dropped the ball on him. Now, with more digging into his past, we're learning things about him that are frightening as well as finding the mistakes made by the FBI in its investigation of him. Those mistakes might be being made again as the FBI is in the early stages of looking into the shooting but looks ready to dismiss Hasan's ties to an Al Qaida terrorist recruiter named Anwar al Awlaki, and if the FBI can't figure out Hasan's motive, maybe they should start here. And as if that isn't enough, the ideology of "diversity" in the Army has been exposed as a disaster yet the Army's Chief of Staff won't acknowledge the failure of "diversity."

Rolling Stone Needs To Shut Up
Rolling Stone has long established that they have no credibility to covering the real world, and with the worthless quality of modern rock music the magazine's reason for existence to begin with is worth questioning. Yet the magazine keeps lying to its readers about the real world and its belligerent ignorance of military matters shows again with its hideous piece on military skepticism of Barack Obama's Afghanistan stupidity that noentheless reveals quite a bit about The Man On The Way Up's greater stupidity based on jealousy of another man's (General David Petraeus) popularity.
Rolling Stone does not have the right to cover issues about which it is dishonest - and war reporting is the magazine at its most dishonest.

Barack: Deciding That I'm Undecided in The Mideast
The Man On The Way Up has spent six months dithering on the Middle East and decided that he's undecided. Tom Donnelley looks at the road to making up Barack's mind that he can't make up his mind.

Meanwhile, Trade Boosts The Economy
While The Man On The Way Up's stimulus keeps failing and his inability to lead against America's enemies becomes more obvious, GDP grew to everyone's surprise, and it came because of trade. File that revelation under the "Duh" column.
The Obama Stimulus Failure
The Man On The Way Up wanted nearly $800 billion for a stimulus package. The results, as anyone with some competent understanding of economics (which Obama does not have) knew, are of a failure.

John Edwards: The Spurned Sycophant
Remember John Edwards, the presidential wannabe who bought sex with government jobs a la Billary Clinton? His former special assistant was hung out to dry by Edwards and now is fighting back.

Pop That Cap
The Man On The Way Up's own data shows cap-and-trade would cost hundreds of millions. Cap-and-tax, as the Wall Street Journal dubbed it, was going nowhere in Congress even with sweet talk from President MOTWU - now it's going the way of Hillarycare.

Archive On Rumsfeld
Posted here is a 2008 piece on Donald Rumsfeld that's worth a look - especially if there emerges any sycophantic puff-piecery on Eric Shinseki, the Army bureacrat who worked to sabotage attempts to reform a badly-in-need-of-reform Army.

Obamacare As Street Theater
The Man On The Way Up's push for collectivized health care has involved staged "town hall" meetings with planted questioners throwing softball questions at President MOTWU and also periodic interruption by protesters. The left is of course reporting such as outrageous acts, except the fraudulence of the whole affair is shown by video showing "Obama As Hitler" posters are being produced by Democrats.

Obamaniacs At Work
The acolytes of The Man On The Way Up go to work on opponants of Obamacare - and the result looks like how totalitarian-minded leaders deal with indiginous enemies.
But then The Man On The Way Up prefers dictators to small-d democrats.

Remembering When Ted Kennedy Killed A Woman
In July 1969 Senator Ted Kennedy killed Mary Jo Kopechne. She had worked with his brother Bobby on his ill-advised and ultimately fatal Presidential campaign. In July 1969 she attended a reunion of Kennedy campaign workers at Teddy's house on Chappaquiddick Island. They left around midnight and the always-irresponsible Teddy plunged their Oldsmobile into the nearby water; he freed himself and refused to try and rescue Kopechne - instead he fled to cover up his role in killing her, which included bullying the local police and getting the local judge to give him a suspended sentence. He fought to avoid responsibility - and it showcases the character of leftism.

So-Called Intelligence Work
The Democrats are in a snit over an alleged program by the CIA against Islamo-Arab terrorism. Problem is, it doesn't amount to anything. But it isn't stopping stupid Congresswomen from mouthing off without facts.

The Palestinian Fraud - A Questionaire
"If the Palestinians get their state back..." It's the cliche of the century-plus, the myth that drives supporters of Islamo-Arab terrorism, and it drives even Mideast wars unrelated to Israel and the PLO - Saddam Hussein for one regularly tried to inject it into his aggressions. So if Palestine was really a legitimate state, one should be able to answer this questionaire about Palestine that exposes the fraud the whole Palestinian myth truly is.

The Alleged Up-The-Ass 103
We of course don't know if this list is the actual one, but for whatever it is worth, here is the alleged list of 103 MLB players who tested positive for shooting up the ass with steroids back in 2003. This was the test the Players union hoped would produce a lot of false positives - of course it didn't.
