The Slandering of Brett Kavanaugh

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh is on his way to confirmation, until Senator Dianne Feinstein - employer of a Red Chinese spy for twenty years - outed a leftwing judge who claimed she was manhandled at age 15 by then-17-year-old Kavanaugh. The story has not held up to evidentiary standard (with a major portion of Ford's life oddly unaccounted for) and its timing betrays its malice. It also showcases how anonymity has become the new form of character assassination. And Senate Republicans giving her benefit of the doubt are seeing she's shafting everyone.

Ford's story collapsed of its own contradictions and insincerity, so out came a phony story from Ronan Farrow and Jane Meyer authored a New Yorker piece claiming another woman accuses Kavanaugh of sexual assault, a piece shot down almost right away. And then the inept lawyer for the inept Stormy Daniels claimed a third accuser had emerged claiming gang-rape by Kavanaugh - a story that isn't sticking, either, and in fact none of the stories holds up to evidence.

That six FBI background investigations before this showed no evidence of any wrongdoing by Kavanaugh is being ignored shows the Kavanaugh accusations are about nothing but hatred by the sham "Me Too" movement.

The Real Point Of The Investigation Of Trump

The FBI's investigation of Trump is not a criminal investigation - because no crime was ever committed.   It is a counterintelligence investigation at the behest of then-President Obama.   Basically the rules were changed to try and deny the defendant right to defend himself, even though literally no evidence exists that Trump or his people in any way aided Soviet espionage.

The Hypocratic Party And Soviet Russia's Election Meddling

Much verbiage has been vented over an intelligence report about Soviet Russian meddling in the 2016 election. That Soviet Russia meddles in US elections has been glaringly obvious for decades; that this story is about delegitimizing Donald Trump is also glaringly obvious. The actual evidence against Trump is laughably weak, and it reflects that the Democratic Party is completely idiotic - and was also itself party to Soviet backing of the antiwar movement, unions, and even the Occupy movement.

But it gets even worse, as a BuzzFeed story alleging gross personal behavior in Russia by Donald Trump - as well as stories his campaign worked with the Russians - have been exposed as frauds. And the phoniness and self-contradiction get worse as Trump exposes his critics to have no credibility.

Addendum March 21, 2017: Hillary Milhous Clinton's election loss was not about Soviet interference.

The Ground Fraud

James Bowman has a brilliant skewering of the "documentary" genre in movies nowadays, noting the crass propaganda purposes alleged "documentaries" are intended to serve. The genre's decline can be traced to Bert Schneider's awful and inaccurate Vietnam War film Hearts And Minds from 1974, and it's only gotten worse with Michael Moore and his ilk.

Bowman skewers two such propaganda "documentaries," This Film Is Not Yet R-ated and The Ground Truth. The latter is yet another antiwar film centered on Iraq featuring alleged "veterans" so traumitized as to turn against their country's cause. One unnoticed lesson from Vietnam is that there is no such thing as an antiwar veteran, best shown in the book Stolen Valor and also the book Why We Were In Vietnam. This being the case, it is impossible to take the testimony of the men offered in The Ground Truth seriously, especially given their supposed naivete about what to expect in a war and also given the richly documented good the US is doing in Iraq, notably in the varied writings of Karl Zinsmeister in such works as Boots On The Ground.

The most offensive line in the film is one alleged "veteran" who, discussing the deaths of his buddies, says, "I tried to tell myself they died for a reason, but I couldn't think of one, I couldn't justify it to myself." Yeah, sure. If he was in Iraq, he saw the savagery of the Islamo-Arab enemy, he saw how we are striving to rebuild a dysfunctional culture into one of true peace; he saw the good we are doing there. Moreover, not one soldier in Iraq is anything remotely resembling an involuntary participant. And with regard to Vietnam, the above is exactly true there as well, with only one caveat - there were draftees there, but they constituted less than half the number of those who served there.

Is it too much to ask Hollywood to for a change do a pro-US movie, or a pro-Iraq War movie, or a pro-Vietnam War movie?
