Seconding Need For New CIA

This look at the resignation of the CIA's director and the need to shake up the entire Agency pretty much sums up the sorry state of the CIA.

FOLLOW-UP: Porter Goss' resignation has paved the way for a new Director Of Central Intelligence. There doesn't seem much optimism that the new DCI will do the job properly.

I can't believe that people are now complaining because Bush's choice for a new CIA director is from the military. It's not like it's the first time that a military man has been head of the agency, for crying out loud. The Democrats will jump on anything that they think will help them win a few more votes from the uninformed voter-base from which they always pull.
