Trying To Falsify History By Erasing It
Yale has ruled to remove John Calhoun's name from a residential college.
Calhoun was James Monroe's War Secretary, John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson's VP, and John Tyler's Secretary Of State - he was also pro-slavery, a fact universally known then and later. Yale's effort to erase history - and thus falsify it -
is common to colleges and is an attempt to create a nonexistent moral superiority.
